To provide better transparency, new standards for sustainability reporting are being developed at the international level.
The IPSAS Board (International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board) is the first body to start developing a Climate-Related Disclosures standard for the public sector. As part of its international activities, the Bundesrechnungshof has seconded two employees (a Board Member and a Technical Advisor) to the IPSAS Board.
